The issue we have been harmering at our meetings is what the Young Lawyers Forum have in store for us all because while the young lawyers need to be educated on ethics, senior lawyers need to be re-educated on same as expressed by the Disciplinary, Ethics and Enforcement, Employment and Fees and Continuing Legal Education Education Committees of the Branch as well as the Branch Executive Committee.
The topic is Mentorship and Professional Ethics in the Legal Profession. To present papers on the topic is our past Branch Secretary and current Deputy Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Kano, Dr. Yusuf Y. Dadem and the Chairman of our Branch Disciplinary Committee, Mrs. HO Olowokere.
The topic desires all to be in attendance especially because the Institute of Continuing Legal Education is awarding all registered attendees credit points for their Mandatory Continuing Legal Education as required by the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners.
